The map shows a comparison of images taken before and after the landslide, highlighting changes in the landscape.
On the left side, the default image is an orthophoto taken before the event (OrthoMap base map); on the right side, there is a post-event orthophoto composed of a series of images acquired by the Municipality of Niscemi using drones on January 18, January 31, and February 2, 2026.
By dragging the slider cursor to the right or left, you can compare the situation before and after the event.
The OrthoMap base map is displayed by default. To change it, click on OrthoMap – Base Layers and select the desired layer.
To navigate the map, you can move by dragging the mouse; to zoom in on specific details, use the mouse wheel or double-click / Shift + double-click.
